Rescue Rod was established in 1981. Kevin Rowledge (Managing Director) over many years has grown the business to the successful business it is today.
Rescue Rod now comprises three distinct trading arms, Rescue Rod itself dealing with all aspects of drainage, Dorset County Water which specialises in leak detection, burst main repairs and replacement and new services. The group also took ownership of RM Liquid Disposal in early 2018 which is a bulk liquid tanker operation.
Dorset County Water itself are hugely experienced in water, working closely with Bournemouth Water, Wessex Water and Pennon Water Services across the region. We are able to repair or replace damaged and leaking pipes from the simplest of domestic supplies to commercial mains with fully qualified WIAPS and WRAS staff. All installation teams are fully insured and carry EUSR / SHEA registry for authority to work on service networks.
Our drainage division operates 24 hours dealing with blocked drains and sewers across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. The water division run dedicated leak detection, repair and renewal teams rectifying bursts through planned and emergency works. The tankers run services as diverse as septic tank emptying to grease traps and also operates a specialist gully sucker. Across Dorset we are here to help!
Recently, Dorset County Water, part of the Rescue Rod Group, where tasked with relaying the water supply network at a Bournemouth cemetery. The works required a mix of excavation, moling and pipe insertion around the estate with connections to a variety of service taps, wash outs and standpipes.
