Dorset County Water has long been part of the Rescue Rod family. Now, together with Clanville Draintech, Draintech Tankers and RM Liquid Disposal, we share one name: RescueRod.
For many years these teams have worked side by side across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, sharing the same standards and the same commitment to doing the job properly. We were always one team.
For our Dorset County Water customers this is good news that changes nothing about who turns up. The engineers who know your sites, your supply and your access arrangements are the same people, and the office you call is the same office. What changes is what sits behind them: a family firm established in 1981 with five specialist departments covering everything from drainage to water mains. You will see the RescueRod name and colours on our vans and paperwork over the coming months.
What stays the same. The engineers who know your sites, the people who answer your calls and the standard of work you have come to expect all continue as before. Your existing contracts and contacts remain unchanged.
What you gain. You may know Dorset County Water for leak detection, water mains and plumbing. As part of RescueRod the same team can now call on five specialist departments, from drainage to water mains, for domestic and commercial work alike. One company, one number, one place for everything.

The RescueRod name and colours are already out on the road. The fleet you have seen in Dorset for years is the same fleet, with one name across it.
Around 60 people work across our depots in Poole, Andover and Marchwood, trusted by organisations including Wessex Water, the NHS, the RNLI, BCP Council and the MOD.
